waterside rooms We are not far from the A74/M6 motorway making us an ideal stop over point and touring base. Your luxury suite is located on the ground floor of our lovely Dumfries & Galloway cottage, near Annan on the border between England and Scotland. Our garden adjoins the sea shore and your rooms look out over the Solway.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           There is an abundance of wildlife around us in a peaceful quiet haven.  Accommodation comprises a comfortable bedroom with king sized bed, your own lounge with good quality double bed settee and a designer shower room. The decor, fittings and furnishings have been designed to make your stay comfortable and restful.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               waterside rooms Suite is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis The Luxury Suite is self contained and can accomodate two people in the king size bedroom, with additional space for up to two more utilising the bed settee in the lounge. The rooms have a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Tea and coffee is complimentary.

 

waterside rooms Other facilities include HD enabled TV and free wi-fi throughout. The rooms are non - smoking and pets are not allowed. The suite has private access through a side door to the lane and is self contained for the exclusive use of guests. All rooms are on one level but there are a few steps up and down for access. We will assist anyone with special needs to the best of our abilities.

Breakfast & Other Meals

Breakfast is served, at a time convenient to yourselves, upstairs in our Dining Area. The breakfast table overlooks the Solway Estuary with panoramic views from the North Peninnes in the East to the Isle of Man in the West.

 

All our produce is local and Scottish where possible. Judith makes the bread, yogurt and preserves herself. Our meats, fish and eggs come from local suppliers. Some products are organic, where we deem them to be of better quality.  We also stock vegetarian options. Our current menu is opposite.

 

We are pleased to advise on local places to eat lunch or dinner, as we do not provide this ourselves. We are happy to provide crockery and glasses if you simply wish to eat in. Our garden and outdoor dining area is available for your use (weather permitting).

 

This is one local eating place which stands out from the rest. Formerly it was known as Del Amitri in Annan, but they have now moved to the Powfoot Hotel about 3 miles west of the town. You can eat in the restaurant there or they also have a bar meal facilitiy. Both are recommended. If you wish a reservation please let us know and we will contact them.
