Mabie Farm Park is nestled beneath the magnificent Mabie Forest with views over the Solway Firth, Mabie Farm Park is original farm fun that’s delightful for all ages in all types of weather!
Just outside Dumfries in Southern Scotland, Mabie Farm Park captures the essence and feel of an original working farm, yet has a variety of both indoor and out door entertainment, for children and adults of all ages!
Regardless of the weather, there is fun to be had together!

Set on 77 hectares and originally a dairy farm, Mabie Farm Park is the brainchild of Julia and Allan Shuttleworth.  Not only is the Park in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and a bluebell wood, it has the added bonus of a stream running through the grounds, and a large pond teeming with wildlife. There is plenty of space in the Park for both humans and animals. Our aim of creating an experience of being close to animals in the great Scottish outdoors, combined with fun and excitement has proved very successful. Underpinning the whole enterprise is the notion of offering entertainment for the whole family, with just as much to do on a rainy day as on a fine day.

With an area set aside for barbecues, ample free parking with coach and designated disabled spaces, picnic tables throughout the park, some under cover, a toy and tuck shop and a Tea Room which serve a wide range of hot and cold snacks and drinks which can be eaten either in the tearoom or on the patio area in the garden. We also have an ice cream counter selling award-winning local "Cream of Galloway" ice cream.  As well as 'The Farmer's Den' two indoor soft play areas.

Along with animal feeding and donkey rides there are plenty of large farm animals to see outdoors.  In the barns, especially at spring time you can see many of the mothers with their new off spring. Also outdoors we have the Fort and play park, grass slide and our very own Mabie Choo Choo express the small train ride running through the park, Trampolings for all ages and Quad bikes for the over 6 year olds.

Every afternoon, under the supervision of Mabie Farm Park staff, children have the opportunity to handle and feed some of our smaller fury friends, Rabbits, Rats, Mice and Guinea Pigs, and yes adults can have a go too!

We do love to host parties and offer an all inclusive service to make your day extra special.
