Commissions
We offer a bespoke service where we can design and make jewellery to your personal requirements. Whether it is a completely new design or re-setting a family jewel the process is simple. After discussing your requirements we forward a set of design sketches along with costings.
Once we are both happy with the design we proceed to making the piece. This process can take between 4-6 weeks. I have recently invested in Computer Aided Design Software which will allow me to show clients a three dimensional image of their piece before starting to make it

Kathryn King Designer Jeweller Ltd is owned and managed by award winning designer jeweller Kathryn King BA(Hons), PG Dip, CDG(HRD).
In 1996 after graduating from Edinburgh College of Art and following first prize success in the United Kingdom Platinum Awards Kathryn set up business in her home town, the former artists colony of Kirkcudbright.
From inception the business has gone from strength to strength. In 1998 Kathryn King Designer Jeweller Ltd was the winner of the Royal Bank of Scotland & Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust Regional Business Award. Kathryn was then short listed for the Scottish Businesswoman of the Year Awards (Most Enterprising Start-up).
Kathryn King Designer Jeweller Ltd is now an established part of the local business community producing contemporary jewellery in precious metals and gemstones. Diamonds are a speciality and each diamond is hand selected by Kathryn who is a Certified Diamond Grader (HRD).
In the showroom in Kirkcudbright Kathryn offers a wide range of designs in a choice of metals and gemstones.{sebercartadd2cartdisplay} Kathryn is also happy to undertake commissions to design and make something unique and personal to your own specific requirements.
